LCPDFR PC Requirements

Featured Replies

Would an Alienware 17 R2 with a Graphics Amplifier be able to handle a lot of LCPD:FR modding?

I don't know if I should get either an alienware desktop or a laptop. I'd like to get a laptop so I can take it from place to place, but would it be reliable for the type of gaming I'm going to use it for (GTA IV + V/LCPDFR + LSPDFR)?

Well, if you can run GTA IV / V, then it should run both LCPDFR and LSPDFR.

Well I don't know if it can run it or not as I'm deciding on if I should purchase an Alienware laptop or Alienware desktop.

Build it yourself or get the parts and get your local pc shop to build it, better value.

I'm not really looking for a cheaper way, rather a more durable, long lasting computer that will allow me to play games I actually want to play. Such as GTA IV and GTA V.

Yes, you have more customisability and depending on what you choose, it would be more future proof than Shitware.

I would say that you can probably run it but it depends on your specs. Plus I would recommend a desktop instead of a laptop because you can barely customize it and you're not able to stick a 960 in it. So if you're able to run GTA IV smoothly then you can install LCPDFR and it'll work fine

Yeah, Windows is great… I used it to download Linux.

I haven't bought the laptop yet. I don't want to buy it and find out I can't play GTA IV/V.

Ohhhhhh. Then don't get it. It's wayyy too much money for a laptop that you can barely play anything on wit little customization. You can get the x51 if you feel like it. Honestly, I have an x51 and it runs my game perfectly fine with an i7 4790 and a AMD Radeon R9 270x. If you want the x51, then just go to the dell outlet and find a used one with my processor and a GTX 960. You'll get better performance.
