Ok guys, normally I don't request help but I need it.

I haven't played GTAV in months, so I booted it up and it automatically updated to 393.4, the latest patch. Started the game up, works fine. This is the retail version from Rockstar, not steam (bought on G2A and downloaded from R* website). No other mods are installed, completely clean game.

Decided to give LSPDFR a try. Followed the steps, made a separate copy of the game for the mod, copied all of the files for LSPDFR over, grabbed the latest RAGEPluginHook that is "supposed" to work with 393.4, created the proper .ini file since there wasn't one, unblocked all the necessary files and gave the .exe the proper admin permissions. 

Launch the game from the Rage .exe, the splash screen comes up, game boots up, go to story mode, once it's loaded, I get no indication of LSPDFR or Rage even working, no F4 commands, no police stations marked, nothing.

I have tried this with the .rar and .zip downloads of 0.2b, still nothing. Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys. I really want to play this.

EDIT: I have also tried launching the game normally and ALT TAB to open Rage manually, still nothing.

To make LSPDFR load when you start the game, open the "startup.rphs" file in notepad, and add the following:

LoadPlugin "LSPD First Response.dll"

To make the console pop up when pressing F4, open up the "RAGEPluginHook.ini" and add the following to it:

IsDeveloperModeEnabled=True
PluginTimeoutThreshold=10000
ConsoleKey=F4
AlwaysShowConsoleOutput=False
IsDeveloperModeEnabled=False
WarnOnPluginLoad=false
ShowOnScreenWarnings=True
