Help Please,

I have GTA 5 CD have all of the current LSPDFR and the current updates but when I launch rampage comes up but LSPDFR does not work when I'm in game. I have a new computer with windows 8.2. Any thoughts.

Problem Description: When I launch GTA 5 via rage. It says Rage is loading. When I get in game the LSPDFR had not loaded. I press F-4 and it wont even open up. I have tried to change the Start UP and Rage but have not success.  I am running a ASUS, 16 GB Ram, 3X2TB Hardrives, with window 8.2. My GTA 5 retail is not Steam and has the most current updates. The only mod I'm using is the LSPDFR and I started with a clean install. 

Here is my GTA 5 folder I don't any Rage Plugin Hook Log however.

Did you by chance copy your original GTA5 folder to another folder (GTA5 LSPDFR)? If so, that is the problem. It is loading the game from the original folder. You need to update the registry keys.

I did make a copy from the original to make the LSPDFR one. How would I update my registry keys to have it load right. Thanks.

Steam: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Rockstar Games\GTAV
or
Social Club: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V

Point them to the correct file path depending on which version you want to play.

Click Start, in the search box type regedit, right click on regedit and run as admin

Expand the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE 

Expand the SOFTWARE

Expand the Wow6432Node 

Expand the Rockstar Games 

Depending on which version of GTA5 you have, left click on either GTAV or Grand Theft Auto V

On the right pane you'll see a key called InstallFolderSteam or InstallFolder. Double click that key and put the correct path there:

E:\Rockstar Games\GTA5 LSPDFR in your case

You may need to reboot after doing this, not sure. I'd recommend rebooting.

Okay made changes but got 3 beeps and crashed

Sorry I have the steam version, you need to click on that Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V above the key you're editing, and edit the InstallFolder in the right pane there.

You are changing E:\Rockstar Games\GTA5 to E:\Rockstar Games\GTA5 LSPDFR in that InstallFolder key.

The key in your screenshot needs to keep the current value of C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Social Club

Sorry I have the steam version, you need to click on that Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V above the key you're editing, and edit the InstallFolder in the right pane there.

You are changing E:\Rockstar Games\GTA5 to E:\Rockstar Games\GTA5 LSPDFR in that InstallFolder key.

Cool, I had to google the key for Social Club version and it was wrong, so my bad there. I corrected the information in my posts so if you need to reference this in the future it's not the wrong info. Glad you got it working.
