Featured Replies

i am having trouble installing custom sirens. i have the correct update for open iv 2.6.4 and i have made a mods folder in my gta v directry and ive made folders for the audio and sfx and i have installed the Resident.rpf file, prior to me doing this i drag my customs sirens folders to my desktop and when i go to look for my mods folder i install everything correctly but when i launch my gta v the sirens are set to defult if anyone can help itll be a great help. i knew how to do it in gta iv and i know how to do it in gta v but the problem with gta v is the siren wont save even when i click edit mode so it does save it it still doesnt, so any suggesstions or help would be much appriciated thanks for those looking and willing to help, for the people who tell me to go watch daves vid on youtube i have already done that so yeah.

It may be worth snapping some screenshots of your folder layout, as even the minimalistic incorrectly placed files/folders will inevitably create problems. In other words, take some screenshots of your folder and file structure within your GTA V folder/mods folder. A visual representation is easier to see what the problem may be. Attach the screenshots in a 'spoiler' tag.

Also, in order for the 'mods' folder structure method for OpenIV to work - you need to have asiloader and OpenIV.ASI for the modified files to even work. You do this by going into OpenIV > Tools > ASI Manager, install both of the files and voila.

There are many programs out there that give you the ability to screenshot your desktop, Bandicam, Gyazo, Fraps to name a few. I'd use Gyazo if you were only to ever take screenshots and have no use for the other programs features like video capturing and fps viewing.

You can get Gyazo here: https://gyazo.com/ (it's free).

Take some screenies of your folder layout, both GTA V's main directory and the 'mods' folder layout too. Upload them here in a 'spoiler' tag.
