Clicking shift to pull over hardly works

Featured Replies

Hi, the new update is great and I'm sure the few bugs there are will get ironed out in due course. However, I thought I'd better post the bugs I've been experiencing.

- As mentioned in the title (it is the most annoying bug for me), when I press shift behind a vehicle, it often does not do anything, and only sometimes will it actually give me the message that I have signalled for the suspect to stop. It always worked before the update so I'm sure I'm doing it right.

- Taser often kills with one hit to the chest. Not sure if it's meant to do no damage or if the taser from the game just has not been edited.

- In first person pressing and holding E to talk to pedestrians does not work, but it works in third person.

- When an officer arrests a suspect they leave them there and drive off.

Thanks a lot for the mod and other than the bugs I have listed it works very well! I understand that there are many support queries at the moment so don't worry about answering quickly.

Yeah I am getting the same issues. For the traffic stops, I sometimes have to press shift 4-6 times to get the car to pull over. The taser is in experimental mode. A shot to the chest up kills them, but lets don't. Hopefully in the future the taser only kills on head shots. The first person thing needs to be fixed. Also they said that officers arresting suspects will be much different. If you wait when the AI arrests the subject. Another cop call pulls up and takes the subject away. This is sorta like the feature in LCPDFR where you could get a prisoner transport, except its with the AI.

OK so I guess they can mess around with the taser to find the right setting.

I drove away from a cuffed suspect and a few mins later he was still on the ground on his own with no officers taking him anywhere :/

To pull someone over you have to be near their vehicle and press shift. Shift basically targets which vehicle you want to pull over as you will see on the minimap.

You then have to initiate the actual traffic stop and flag the car. Once the vehicles targeted with Shift you then have to turn your lights on.. At this point the car will either pull over or run.

Taser is still experimental it says, just reduced damage, and I can't comment on the other stuff

As I said in the original post, I'm sure that I was pulling over vehicles correctly because it always worked fine before the update. After using the mod today however, the issue seems to have resolved itself.

Targeting the vehicles goes fine for me for the first hour, but after a long session it's getting harder and harder to correctly blip someone, as I have to press the shift button a dozen of times before it actually targets the vehicle.

Same for me except shift doesn't ever work.

ps. I am using an Xbox360 controler.

I am also running in the same issue with pull overs though I found a workaround, if you can't blip a vehicle instead of standing right behind it move your car slightly to the left, like almost on the left lane and it usually works.

It seems that after a while the function that tags vehicles slightly moves so you have to move your car accordingly.

When an officer arrests a suspect they leave them there and drive off.

Try calling in a Code 2 backup, most often the officers will get out of the car and "pick the suspect" by themselves (it's more like the suspect gets up and follows them). If they don't you can also open the back door of their car (when they are out) and the suspect will walk to the car. And if he doesn't, enter the car and the suspect is likely to warp inside, then get out and let the officers leave with the suspect.

If nothing works, just kill him silently when no one is looking :ninja:
