to start LSPDFR is it a requirment to have play a certain amount of the story line of gtav?

or can you play LSPDFR right from the start go.

Well, you can play the mod from start BUT.... (possible spoiler)

....in the story line michael and trevor are exciled from the city. If you go to the city enemies will be spawned trying to kill you. After this part in the storyline everything should be ok.
