Featured Replies

Hey everyone, bought my copy of gta v off greenmangaming when it came out, had no issues playing it and i took a break from it for awhile. So last night i went to get ready and get all the latest updates and launch the game.. Except the game now doesnt launch. The grand theft auto v splash screen shows up for a second, then disappears.. No message or anything. It shows up in my processes (i think yhe GTAlauncher) then disappears shortly after. Ive tried disabling malwarebytes, MSE, restarting computer. As far as i know i havent installed any sort of recording programs like fraps or anything since. (however this was already on my computer and didnt causr any issues before) anyone got any suggestions? Thanks for reading

I think that happened to me a few weeks ago because i still had (an old version of) scripthook installed. Because of that, my game wouldnt get past the launchscreen. When you delete your game throught Windows itself, it doesnt actually remove any 3rdparty files you have in there. Did you use scripthook/mods in the past? If so, chances are the files are still in your GTA folder and that's whats preventing you from launching the game.
