LCPDFR AdvancedHookInit.asi and Diagnostic Tool not working

Featured Replies

For the past few days I've been trying to get LCPDFR working for GTA IV (Steam) I have followed the instructions and downloaded all the softwares for LCPDFR to work. I downloaded the manual download for LCPDFR 1.1 and I followed the instructions and I open my GTA IV, I press Alt+P and nothing works so I search through my GTA IV folders to see what is the problem and I've looked through Google to find out the problem. I look in my LCPDFR folder and I see the Diagnostic Tool and It won't run or paste over to where I want it to go and I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but it just says "Break Operation" something like that.

http://prntscr.com/7h1nmy - When I try to move the AdvancedHookInit.asi file

http://prntscr.com/7h1o3f - When I try to move/extract the Diagnostic Tool.exe

I'm currently reinstalling GTA IV and I've attempted run it as an administrator but nothing I have tried is working and I don't know how to fix these files. Please help :/

hello amby and welcome to the forum :) we'll try to give a few simple things to try. first is your GTA IV copy running correctly without LCPDFR installed? if it does then its clearly an issue with the police mod and i am thinking it might be with the installation. once you confirm your GTA IV is good to go then install LCPDFR automatically but disable your virus protection during the downloading and installation. sometimes virus programs can block certain parts from being downloaded which will cause your mod to simply not work.

try that real quick and if that works lemme know. if not we will try something else :D

Okay thanks for the reply. I am currently reinstalling GTA IV so I'll try and do that :)
