Game crashes the instant I pause

As in the title guys.

Every time I press pause the game crashes instantly. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled it.

Any ideas ??

It's a steam version, if that makes any difference

Pause as in pressing Esc or P (in some cases) to get to the menu?

I don't think it matters if it's the Steam version or not. How does the game run for you?

Have you tried verifying the integrity of your game cache? You can do so by right-clicking the game in your inventory and selecting Properties -> Local Files -> Verify Integrity Of Game Cache.

I am sorta having this issue as well but for me i can hit pause and be in the pause menu but when i hit Graphics to adjust my resolution my game crashes.But otherwise it is fine.
