Phanteks Enthoo Luxe Case (Fan Configuration)

Featured Replies

Just began the process of buying and building my new gaming PC. So the case I have chosen and bought (Phanteks Enthoo Luxe) is a must-have for me. x2 140mm (rear and top) and x1 200mm (front) fans have come as standard and are included in the case. Wanting to replace these and place x5 Corsair AF140 Cooling Fan's (to illuminate my case) instead. Would like to know the best placement for them (if you recommend different or more fans, please suggest it). Not sure whether I should keep the 200mm fan or not. I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to fan configuration and whatnot, so any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers guys.

Since you're getting five fans, you might want 3 intake and 2 exhaust (or 4 and 1). What I would do is put 2x 140mm in the front of the case in intake mode (sucking air in, has a little arrow pointing where), and then put 2 on the top as intake or 1 on top and one on the bottom as intake. Then, put 1 in the rear of the case as exhaust.

Or, if you want to use the 200mm, put the 200 in the front of the case and one of the 140s if you can/want (as intake), put 2 on the top as intake, put 1 on the bottom as intake, and then put one on the rear as exhaust.

You might want to try experimenting, however, as results are different each time (I also don't have that case, I'm basing it off of mine and the specs of fan locations on the Phanteks website, just FYI). If anything was unclear to you, please quote me and I'll be more than happy to help.
