Hello LCPDFR community.

So my game works just fine but for some reason my brothers game seems to be consistently crashing every 7 to 12 Min.We have the same exact graphics card.(Different CPUs) He has tried troubleshooting,Re install,Memory fix.Verifying game cache. But nothing seems to be working.Has anyone eles had this issue?Or maybe know how to fix it?Or is this just a problem on RockStar`s end and a patch needs to be made?

Any assistants would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, from what I experienced, do you:

- mess around the the graphics and advanced graphic settings?

- game crashes for me, when I mess around with the ingame graphics setting or benchmarking. Restarting the game after changing graphic settings or running the benchmark solves the problem

- do you use advanced settings?

- if yes, then this could be the reason. Advanced distance scaling is a killer for example

I came to the conclusion that the game crashes because it loads to much in the vram. Another very strange issue is, that my game doesn't really like the latest nvida driver (350.12) though the driver should be optimized for gta v (very strange). I switched back to 347.88 and the game runs somehow smoother.

do you have a link to that driver?

Go to: http://www.geforce.com/drivers

Under "manual driver search" enter your card and operating system. It shows a list of drivers. Choose the driver you want.

To install the driver (downgrading from 350.12 for example) uninstall the current driver. To do this go do your system divice manager, choose display (grafic card), right click properties, driver, unistall driver.

After the diver is uninstalled, install the driver you downloaded. Done.

If you have specific setting in your nvidia control pannel (for example enable DSR or something similar) restore them manualy. You'll lose these settings due to uninstalling the previous driver.

His drivers are good.I found out what is causing the game to crash on and offline but have not fixed the issue yet. When his game crashes a social club window with login and password input on it and at the top it says "Your account has been logged out because it is signed in elsewhere "Apparently people are saying its a problem on Rockstars end but No one has got a actual response from support about it.

This has been going on since the game launched and the crashes are anywhere from 1- 20 min apart. He has bought the game threw steam then he bought it threw Social club and with 2 different accounts and it is still broken. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to say that, but that is not the problem in my opinion. Look at my post, thats what I did. And in your ingame grafic settings, make sure the vram indicator is still on green and the game runs smooth. I can only say from my experience that it is NOT a social club error but the game is exceding the vram limit (by loading to much into it). I got the SAME error "Your account has been bla bla bla". This just happens because the game crashes and logs out of the social club. It just gives you the wrong information about the unexpected error.

You can spend countless days on fixing it, but in my opinion it is just a simple reason of exceeding the vram limit. Remember what GTA IV did? Texture loss and then "GTAIV.exe has stopped working"? In my opinion its due to vram usage. That is the reason why rockstar doesn't reply to topics like these regarding GTA V or they just keep telling you the same thing: "update driver" and so on.

They made this game to run smooth, they advertised it to run smooth and they want you to run it smooth. And they made this option "ignore suggested limits" for a good reason. When you turn this on it says something like "issue may happen bla bla bla". An that is what you get = issues.
