Can I run GTA V?

Featured Replies

Look, first off, I understand my specs are terrible. I don't need anyone to tell me. Second, I can't afford an upgrade at the moment.

Everything runs slowly, I'm used to that.

My specs are:

Processor: Intel Core i3-3220 CPU @3.30GHz

RAM: 4.00 GB (3.88 GB Usable)

Graphics: Intel Integrated HD (Ikr)

OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit

So, the question is, can I run GTA V? Will it be worth my while to get it? I can run IV just fine, even if it crashes a lot and has low graphics settings. I've heard some people say if you can run IV, you can run V better. Is this true? Will I be able to run it better, the same, or worse than IV?

I highly doubt you can run it, maybe on lowest settings, that's if the game dose not have a on-board graphics restriction.

You need to upgrade your CPU and get a proper GPU :(.

Yes, but will it run worse or better than GTA IV?

if you could run it on lowest settings, i bielieve it will run better. i have a i7 and GTX 970 and IV dose not run as it should sometimes.

IV was a very poor port, V was developed for PC from the get go, i wouldnt be surprised if it work better for ya, again, IF you could run it.

Thaaaank you sir, I can run IV well enough to be enjoyable, I think I'll get this and run on the lowest settings until I can get a new GPU. Would you recommend a GTX 750 Ti?

Anyone else with feedback, it's also appreciated.

Np! i would suggest to bring more buck to the deal and get the 970. its worth every penny. but do a google search if the game can acctualy run on Onboard graphics.

I did a quick search, like you suggested. Read a few things. Watched a video of it. I can run it, better than IV. (Hallelujah!) I'll get it and probably save for a while until I can afford a 970 or maybe 80 or 90? Jeez, they're expensive. Thanks very much.

Should probably also upgrade to 6 or 8 GB of RAM. It won't help so much with running the game, but it'll make other processes/programs faster (and GTA V tends to cause your whole computer to lag even after it closes). Doesn't have to be anything special, just whatever fits in your motherboard (if it supports it).
