Police Game for Mobile devices

Featured Replies

Police Patrol Game is a small indie game production targeted for mobile platforms (Android and iPhone in the first phase). The game has been in development now for couple of months. Target is to release the game for Android devices and iPhone/IPods.

Game will be made with 2D graphics from the top-down perspective like the early Grand Theft Auto titles (GTA1 and GTA2). Player will assume the role of rookie police officer and progress on his career by completing various mission that build up the story and allow the main character progress on his career as an police officer.

Game will be mission based so that you get to do a series of short mission that include various aspects of police work (including traffic stops, pursuits, arrests, gun fights etc.)

Originally the idea was to do an open world game where player could freely roam around the city and do patrols much like in LCPFFR, but this idea has been since dropped as doing an open world game will take too much time and resources. Open world game mode is something that can be reconsidered once the intial game has been released (e.g, as a separate game mode).
