my secound post still with xlive and dsound problems

Featured Replies

dsound and xlive.dll i have problems with, the gta 4 game i bought online and downloaded it from gamersgate.com which they included a activation code. the xlive.dll problem which i encounter is that their is no text or options for me to pick what to say when i pull someone over or chase someone. with dsound.dll windows live pops up and i have to sign in where the dsound.dll asi runner was suppose to get rid of it. i run the game on admisistrator with dsound.dll and it creates a asi log but still winodws live pops up where when i loaded or install .95 lcpdfr with xlive.dll asi as a runner windows live does not pop up and run. also i didn't mention that i loaded a saved game that requires me to run a asi runner such as xlive or dsound in order to play it. so do i use lcpdfr with dsound and forget about the saved game data that requires a asi runner to load that data or do i install lcpdfr with xlive and able to load that saved data but play a on duty cop with no text to say.

Just make a windows live account and sign in with it

It tracks your achievements and lets you play online with friends. I don't know why you think it's a problem. There's no real need for a 100% gamesave if you're playing lcpdfr. Just start a new game, finish the first couple of missions and save the game, then start playing LCPDFR.

If you desperately want to play with the savegame and xliveless then please follow http://www.lcpdfr.com/forum-20/announcement-5-need-support-read-this-first/ and
