GTA IV CRASHING

Featured Replies

Okay so I've done a little bit of searching, I accidentally saved the game while on duty on lcpdfr. The game crashed when joining a pursuit. I've deleted the save file but it continues to spawn me in Alderney after the loading screen says "Starting new story.." it then goes back to a loading screen titled "The cousins Bellic.." it begins to play the audio for the scene then on a a dark blue screen and then crashes. My thoughts to this was that I had westdykes safehouse installed in Alderney and that that was the reason I kept spawning in Alderney first. I have removed the mod from my game scripts but it continues to do the same thing.

I had to uninstall LCPDFR, launch and save, and the re install LCPDFR. Works now

You probably had the save files for LCPDFR left in your game directory (the files with the file extension .fr).
