I've grown a little tired of the countless ped models with almost no gear on the duty belt.

 

Is there any way I would be able to add some more gear to this ped model (with adequate permission of course)?

Nothing at all against the authors, but the fronts of many models on this site are missing a lot of gear. Not very realistic.

 

Could someone walk me through this process, or better yet, be willing to do it themselves? Thanks!

To be straight forward. It's extremely hard. Ped modeling for GTA IV is a very lengthy and hard process in which to go through. You're better off with what you have now. Plus, what is there not to love? I think the "duty" belt is perfect already.

More stuff like what? The items on the stock fat cop's duty belt are fairly easy to add to any ped (the fat cop model has them all detached from each other, which is very easy to work with), so if you want more of that, it's not too hard.
