I've played Lcpdfr for about a year now, always using Els and the Gta 4 trainer with it, plus many other mods, and I've never had an issue... but now, even with JUST THE Trainer installed, the trainer wont start when i push f3... when i have the trainer and Lcpdfr installed, I still cant start the trainer... but Lcpdfr starts. And if i have the trainer, Lcpdfr, AND Els v8.... nothing will start, not the trainer, not Lcpdfr, and not even Els. Can somebody please help, i will add all of the logs i have in my gta 4 folder if you want to look over them! Thank you so much :)

well i had the same problem just two weeks ago and think its all just a matter of some mods needing updated. when ya install one over the other things are replaced by older things. the els version of advanced hook is outdated; however, its scripthook is newer than the one used by Trainer. What i did was i started over with a GTA IV back up. I installed ELS V8.0 then when i installed Trainer. these are the only files i used from the Trainer download

That way i am leaving the newer version of ScriptHook that accompanies the ELS in place. After i installed both of those i then installed LCPDFR. By doing that we are replacing the old version of AdvancedHook that was installed with ELS. Now as far as i know you will then have the most updated versions of both advanced hook and scripthook.

 

Once i started up the game Trainer worked perfectly first try. So i can't say that your problem is what mine was but it could be worth trying. I have been having so many issues lately that i had to try to figure things out by myself and thats all i could come up with. so if you would like to try that please do. i hope maybe it might help you. if you do try and it doesn't work let me know also so i know that my theory is not right

I did that and lcpdfr and els started working... the trainer still does not start up when i push ft.... i have "Trainer.ini" and "Trainer.asi" installed in my gtaiv directory... again ive been using this mod for over a year now and im installing it the same way ive always been and its still not working! Thanks for helping me with els and lcpdfr though!!!! 

 

(Update) 

nvm switched my key from f3 to f1 because i originally thought it was interfering and forgot about that.
