Suspects don't pull over in MP

Featured Replies

Suspects don't pull over in 1.0dHotfix1 MP. It says to pull up behind the vehicle, but their car is still moving and once they pull over and I exit the vehicle they just drive off. It is not a pursuit either.

Also my friend has 1.0d without the hotfix and it works fine

is it doing this for every pursuit? i have instances where i have to tell them to pull over four or five times before they actually do. also are you waiting until it says to exit your vehicle before you get out?

Yes Sometimes I have this issue sometimes I don't. Also I can't get out of the vehicle because when it says to get out when the suspect is still driving

They sometimes don't pull over because there is no place where they can or there is a red light or the traffic block him, but you can pull him over rapidly just turn on the siren but that's the problem with it the driver stop the middle of the road, you downloaded the LCPDFR with automatic or manual?

Are you in normal GTA IV multiplayer, or in Party Mode.  I've found that in Party Mode, I have the problem that you have, where you initiate a stop, and the vehicle pulls over to the side, then just keeps on driving, while it gives you the pull up behind the vehicle message like it would normally give you..  In normal multiplayer and campaign, it works fine for me, however, I have had issues where in a pursuit, foot chase, etc., it doesn't give me the "press E to tell the suspect to stop" message, and it doesn't give me that "ping" noise that it should give you.  They just keep running endlessly, even after being tasered a couple of times.  If an AI officer joins the pursuit, they can arrest them, so I don't know if it's just the suspect bugging out or if it's my game.

Sorry for kind of butting in and asking a question on your topic, but if you're in Party Mode, i'd switch over to regular MP.

Hmm.  Did you do the automatic install, or the manual install for 1.0d?

Please uninstall LCPDFR, and do the manual install.  When you go to download it, choose option 3. LCPD First Response 1.0d_2 Manual Install.zip.  You'll need to open it, and unzip the files into a separate folder, from which you'll copy and paste them into your GTA IV root.  Make sure you're pasting the files and not the actual folder you put it in.  ALWAYS MAKE A COPY OF YOUR VANILLA GAME, just in case.  I recommend manually installing the Taser as (see https://www.lcpdfr.c...-in-lcpdfr-10/ to install).  Feel free to post here, or message me if you have questions or issues with this, and of course, there is always YouTube in case you get stuck.  Just search LCPDFR 1.od manual install.

I had the issue you are talking about in an earlier version of LCPDFR, but I haven't seen it in 1.0d, except in party mode.

Edit: Just had that happen to me in free mode.  I quickly uninstalled, and re installed LCPD:FR 1.0d, and it's back to normal.  Let me know if you're having troubles.
