I downloaded the door chime mod '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> and was wandering will it work with non police vehicles too? think it could be interesting to when niiko gets pulled out of the car and theres a door chime xD

Ok so i loaded the door chime and put everything wheres its suppose to go and every time i launch the game i s get this

i used the archiver Open IV to put it in the correct place the .net.dll is in scripts and the .ini is the main folder where all my .ini 's are

Two things:

Audio files for ME don't work when I use open iv, so I have to use spark.

The ini should be in your scripts folder.

i moved the ini into scripts and instead of a chime the audio is more of a buzz

 

and spark IV wont let me place the extras.ivaud in to the resident.rpf or w/e

 

Spark IV keeps teeling me i cant add new files only replace exsisting ones

 

Ya, you got to import it.

well thats it i hit the import button and thats what spark IV tells me

 

could i make a blank file named EXTRAS.ivaud stick in there twith open Iv then import the reall oneon top of it so sparkIV will let me add it?

Lol I'm confused.

Save the extra somewhere you can find it.

Open up spark and navigate to pc, audio, six, resident.

Import the extra and save twice.

i can put in with Open IV but it makes a buzzing noise instead of teh chime

 

Ok i figured it out you have to follow this path GTA IV / pc / audio / Sfx / resident.rpf / RESIDENT /    <-- the EXTRAS.ivaud is in that just import save rebuiild w/e and then it works
