LCPDFR has encountered an error

Featured Replies

Lately, every time I start LCPDFR it gives me the error saying lcpdfr has encountered an error, and a restart is reccomended. I think it may be related to ELS 8. I have tried reinstalling like 4 times. The diagnostics tool says everything is valid, but says there are errors in the log file. I'm too stupid to understand the log file, so if somebody could tell me how to fix it that'd be great. thanks!

Well I had this problem after the 1.0d hotfix update also. Here's how I fixed it thanks to some help from the moderators here....

Apparently, when I did a drag and drop of the new AdvancedHook files, it did not replace them for one reason or another. So I had to manually delete them, and then add the new ones. The error stopped immediately after. Not sure if this is the same problem you're having, but if it is, I hope this fixes the issue for you. Happy gaming :)
