First off, whats your price budget? Personally I think that a 750ti is a good graphics card, but if you can possibly spend an extra 80-90 dollars and get a GTX 760, you could do some more with the graphics/game. Maybe install a really good ENB like CryENB or something like that. I'm trying to save up to get a rig with 2 GTX 770's so I can go over the top on my game. So all I would change in your build is possibly get a 760.

I mean I can move up to a 770 and my price budget is to not go over 2000

Good. And by the way, you are going to put the parts in a case that you already have? Because I saw that there isn't a case in your parts list.

I was wanting your guys opinions on this computer I built. Im a big graphics guy also lol. Thanks guys because i need help.

I have basicly the same specs, except I went AMD and I spent half that hahaha.

AMD FX-4300 3.8GHz Black Edition

Asus M5A79 LE R2.0 Motherboard

8gb 1333mhz Kingston HyperX Black

NVidia GTX 750 1gb

Rosewill 630w PSU 80+ Bronze

You should get an H440. They're cool :P

If you're not going to go over 2000, you could opt for two GTX 970s. They would put you playing in 4k (if you have a 4k monitor) for many years to come. However, one can be sufficient and will do you well. (I know how bad you don't want to spend a ton of money, but it will do you great in the future)

I would say take out the Power supply and put a 600W Bronze or silver. And with the left over money buy a GTX 760. You dont need 750Watts unless youre doing SLI or CrossFire. My friend has a 600W PSU and he's running a similar setup with a GTX770. Otherwise it looks good.

I would suggest a different motherboard and a better GPU. (The newest link shows a 750Ti). Just to point out if you want to get a x2 970 or even a single one, grab a 4k monitor too as there is no need then for such a powerful GPU as its overkill for 1080p gaming.

Feel free to PM me for help! Also please hit the like button if anything I said helped or made ya laugh. Specialty is computer hardware and assembling so feel free to ask anything if you need help :)

saw that you talked about a GTX 970, i definitely think you should get that with your i5

if you manage to get your OS on an SSD with the i5 + 970, you'll be set, killer PC

What do you mean by if i get my OS on an SSD? Im not that great with computers lol sorry

Not a problem, my dear sir. It simply means that when you get the computer, you should install Windows on the Solid State Drive (SSD). That way, you will experience much faster loading times overall.

IMO, I wouldn't recommend going with any of the 700 series with your budget. Yes, the 760-780 are GREAT cards, but they are starting to become out of date... For the price, the 970 is better than the 760, and almost puts out the same specs as the 780. If you have the money, go for the 980, it's better than any card in the 700 series and newer, meaning it'll last you quite a bit longer in terms of out dating. Intel Processors are better than AMD, no one can disagree with that. BUT if you have a strict budget maybe AMD is for you. Processor and GPU are IMO the two most important parts of any PC build, so I wouldn't take them lightly, even if you have to save a little more or spend a little more for a better one. Running SLI 970's wouldn't be as worth as getting a single 980. That's my opinion.

970 SLI would dominate a single 980. The 980 is definitely not worth the price to performance upgrade from the 970. Like 20% more performance for double the price.

I'm not disagreeing with you at all, the price differential with the 970 and 980 is quite a bit, and the 970 is clearly a better option, what I meant is if you have money to throw out the ass and don't have a budget, get the 980 obviously. Unless you go insane and get the Titan which is ridic. I love my 970 and wasn't going to consider spending the 200-300 bucks more for the 980

You might want to get some more storage space.I have a 1TB HDD and is about 90% full. 128GB may seem like a lot but it will go quickly. Alternatively, you could invest in an external hard drive.

Shopping for a gaming PC is incredibly simple. Go to youtube and search for the game you want to play and the specs you're considering. If you don't like the performance, try a more expensive part. Keep doing this until the performance/price ratio is something you like.
