Windows 8.1 Problem

Featured Replies

Yes I know you're probably thinking its windows 8, that's the problem but whenever I leave a game, I can't click the windows button or go up into the corner and use the pop up menu, it doesn't appear.... Unless I restart, all my drivers are up to date. Is there something that I can do to fix it?

Sound more like a driver problem.   are you on windows 8.1 or windows 8.

I am running windows 8.1 no issue when I leave gta4 or any game.

Those this happen with any other game?

Yes it does happen in other games but not always, running 8.1

Might want to make sure the game running on the 860m and not the intelHD video card.   Same goes for other games.  You  can check that in nvidia control pannel.  I know my machine it kept trying to use the intelHD for some games instead of the 970m.

GTAIV, Emergency 4 and Emergency 5 as well.
