Upgrading Parts

Featured Replies

So before I need suggestions about upgrading its better to learn the history about my pc, well the PC I have isn't built and I bought this PC from best buy few years ago and then upgrading the GPU and power supply, now before that time I was able to run so many games on high or sometimes ultra depending on the game. Now its come to a point I need to finally upgrade, most of the games i played like dragon inquisition, far cry 4, and I guess battlefield 4 I can't even play them without most of them dropping frames or lag even at low some games just keep laggy which is weird. Now I think its the right time to upgrade so I can play these amazing games and hopefully play GTA V PC anyways sorry about this long story just wanted to tell u whats going on with my PC, anyways here's are my specs and what you recommend or u think I need to a new pc.

The Graphics Card/Processor (Impossible to change though)/and HDD needs to go, but without a price point, I'm not of much use.

I don know why the HDD needs to go I heard it only effects loading times so I guess isn't a main focus for me, also why you say its impossible, if I was able to replace the shitty graphics card with the gtx 560 so what difference with the new gpu, but not sure about cpu since I really never screwed with it. anyways my price point if u think the graphics card and processor needs changing would be 300 to 400 i guess.

Gonna be honest with you a bit. But these parts are a little old. I recommend switching that gpu out with a new one. For the $220 dollar budget for a gpu (because thats what the 560 ti was when it was still sold), I recommend the AMD r9 280 (it got really down from $270 to 200). CPU and the motherboard is old, have a plan to change that out in the future but hold it up for now because it is the most expensive upgrade and the most challenging. I also kinda agree with Quiggles, I've never seen an HDD that was under 1tb in a while, also that is the cheapest upgrade over everything.

the graphic card you choose for me can it run most modern games like arma 3, far cry 4 and much more on high or maybe ultra? I know my pc is old but I want to save money I really dont want to get myself a new pc while this one is already fine for me and that's weird i thought it was 1tb.
