I'm having multiple issues with 1.0c, trying to update the game, been awhile since patrolled the streets got on 0.95 and decided to bring it up to date deleted and installed, crashed upon startup the good Ol' GTA4 has stopped working.... tried to use the diag tool showed everything ok except .asi ive always used xlive... and was in the folder... deleted the entire directory and installed GTA again, tried and tried with manual and auto downloads of 1.0c to no avail, tried to update all dependencies directX, CC+, ect all up to date or exceeding the version requirements. so then i try the diag tool (before fresh install diag tool was working with 1.0c just 1.0c was crashing) now the diagtool itself is crashing it doesnt locate the directory i use, advanced & it crashed upon finding GTA4.exe....

 

deleted LCPDFR started right up with same Xlive in my folder...

deleted everything from 1.0c and reinstalled 0.95 and starts right up...

deleted 0.95 installed 1.0c same xlive file, crashing upon start up gta4.exe has stopped working...

mixed * matched every version of dsound & xlive as i could..

got to one point with 1.0c that the game actually started breifly but ALT + P did not work that was late last night cant get that to occur anymore... just crashes

 

help...?

trying to upload scripthook file was already open close other program...opened task manager, and process error that i cant get to pop back up for its name came up... W.T.F is going on lol?

 

i have reason to believe its 1.0C because if i deleted everything as it sits with other mods such as ELS, installed or not 0.95 would start right up.

 

 

New install of 1.0c for the 20th time, tool decides to work now but i get this.....

 

 

new installl reinstalled framework i try to start gta starts a background process as you can see here.....

Judging from your screenshots, it's DEP shutting down GTA IV. This is a Windows configuration issue and no LCPDFR issue. Deleting AdvancedHookInit.asi might help getting the game to start, but will result in lack of functions (for instance automatic taser replacement).
