ELS lights not bright.

Featured Replies

Hi, I've been having this issue where when I turn my lights on, the colors show up but they aren't bright at all. I'm using icenhancer 3.0 with the latest patch and ELS 8 latest version.

I've tried editing my visual settings and change car.defaultlight.emissive.on to really high (even above 2000) and really low values but they aren't changing at all.

I had a similar issue except my lights (WARN were too bright and over powered the PRML. What I did and do is keep a number of different "lights" to overlay the textures in OpenIV. Some work better thank others but try to lay a "new" warning light over the lighting texture, I personally use paint.net for any changes because you can save as PNG.

easy fix, change your enbbloom.fx file as in replace it with a brighter one such as the one from VisionENB (if you use an enb) or if its still bright or your running without enb go to

1) GTAIV/common/data

2) Open visual settings.dat file with your notepad

3) scroll down a little fit unit you find Lights Emensive or Emmisive, and if the value it for ex. 80, make it around 180 or 300 ish...

4) save, exit and test

I have the same exact issue, been searching for a long time. The fix above does make the lights "brighter" but it just enlarges it instead of adding actual glow. There must be some other option you have to tweak.
