Are These Specs good for GTA IV?

Featured Replies

So I've had this computer tower sitting in my closet just collecting dust, since there is an NTFS.sys error with it. So I decided to bring it out and possibly take it to geek squad to repair it. But before I do that, I would like to know if this desktop tower can handle Grand Theft Auto IV.

Specs:

- Windows 7: Home Premium 64-bit,

- Intel Pentium Processor G630,

- Intel HD Graphics,

- 1TB Hard Drive

- 4GB DDR3 Memory,

- DVD Super Multi Drive,

- Multi-in-1 Media Card Reader

I was thinking that the 4GB memory might be a little small, I was going to upgrade that later (please tell me if it's fine or upgrade).

Please let me know if this will be fine to run GTA IV with mods and possibly an ENB.

I don't want a super computer. I just want an average computer that can handle GTA IV and possibly GTA V.

Not enough to run GTA IV since you haven't a dedicated videocard but an integrated one. Intel HD Graphics can't handle videogames as well (they sucks). Anyway this f**** game takes more from the CPU than the GPU... Your CPU is a dual-core and this game needs at least a quad-core processor and a good videocard (1GB VRAM) with least 6GB RAM to be played at 40/50 fps.

GTA IV is very bad optimized on pc, one of the worst ever...

I have played this game on a Core i3 with 3GB DDR3 and an integrated Intel HD Graphics and had a terrible performance.

Not enough :C Mine is barely enough either, but I can run it on any settings I like and it's always 17fps due to how badly optimized it is, but 17fps feels like 30 fps to me so it's fine :P I got a Intel Core Xeon 7030 2.8ghz 8 Processors, 4 gigs of ram and a gt 610 :P Really wanna get a GTX 750ti
