Continued LCPDFR_Loader_Loader! Error

Featured Replies

Hey Guys,

Hopefully I post this correctly as its my first time seeking support. I have installed LCPDFR 1.0 on a fresh install of GTA IV and have encountered many issues. Please bare with me as I explain.

I had GTA IV installed and I reinstalled it to ensure a fresh install of LCPDFR. In doing so I noticed some strange events from the beginning.

1) When I installed GTA IV this time the icon never appeared on the desktop as well as it not appearing in the start menu ie:Rockstar Games>Grand Theft Auto as it did before. In order for me to play the game I need to go into C:// and enter the Program Files to find Rockstar games and launch it that way.

2) The automatic install of LCPDFR did not work so I went the manual route. This ended up working except I would get a message that the script crashed OR the script would not start by stating "Script Error LCPDFR_Loader_Loader!"

3) When I change the folder GTA is in and un-check Read Only it would apply it but then when I enter the properties window again it resets it to "Read-Only"

I am out of ideas guys.....Please Help

And to all my Canadian friends out there, Happy Thanksgiving!

PS: Game is Patched with Rockstars Update

I have attached the files, I have also searched the forum and although many came close to fixing the issue it appears it just masked it. The good news is as of lastnight I was able to play without any error or crash, but experienced very bad lag even with display stings set to minimum...I will remain hopeful.

Thanks for your reply.
