I tried to do this myself but clearly I need help. I've been trying for days to install. I keep getting after it says installation complete "failed to find a valid installation. please use the browser option to locate your game installation." i have turned off read-only, i have watched plenty of videos and nothing seems to work. I bought GTA IV via Steam which complicates it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    That only means the registry entries for your game installation are missing, but not that LCPDFR as a whole doesn't work. Have you tried it ingame yet?

    I have tried it in game. Nothing appears when I attempt to initiate it, I've tried all the different ways that people recommend in the forums.
