when i installed this mod i get a black screen lasting 2-3 seconds then my screen comes back, this is random it happens between 1-2 minutes, After about 3-4 minutes later the game crashes, after doing a bunch of tests and i mean ALOT, i decided that it was one of my other mods interfering with lcpdfr so i removed all mods including moded vehicles but still the same.

so after talking with my friends we agreed that i should reinstall gtaiv with no mods except lcpdfr maybe its my game since no-one else is having this problem, this time no black screen, after about 1 minute before getting to romans apartment first mission the game minimizes and says gtaiv crashed but gtaiv continued to run, after 5-6 minutes later i figured that my savegame was the problem right after that thought i get blue death, so i reinstalled gtaiv again and tried one more time, same thing happens after 1 minute the pc says my game crashed but still continued, so this time i decided to close gtaiv before i got blue death and i got a quick popup, it flashed advanced hook so i went to look at the log and found this

Does GTAIV work on it's own without any mods?

yes it works fine i can play lcpdfr 0.91 in the multiplayer with all mods installed no problems and i never crash

If you have other car mods, mods etc, uninstall them and just have LCPDFR on it's own.

i didnt put my mods back in when i reinstalled gtaiv, i forgot to add that in and the diagnostics, all info is there now

Yo Marty, still having problems?

I had the same problem, reinstalled .NET4 and everything, spent like 3 days trying to figure it out. Turns out the problem was with dsound.dll, remove it from the game dir and reinstall only the LCPDFR but in the install untick dsound and tick xliveless and see if it helps, (I guess) this stops you from playing multiplayer thought.

Marty do you have Els, car modifications, or any script mods? If so I would suggest you to uninstall those and see if the game works. If the game works with out them properly, it is best to stick with Non Els car mods, and low poly cars. If the game still does not work with out them you have to reinstall Gta Iv.
