I am running GTA IV via Windows 8 Bootcamp on a 2 month old MacBook Pro, 2.0 ghz i7, Intel Iris Pro integrated card, 8 GB RAM. Installed GTA IV from Gamestop app, updated GFWL client, go to launch the game, and I get to the screen where you select play. I went into options, then graphics, and it says that I only have 12 mb of graphics capability- which is obviously wrong. Then I tried to launch the game and it hangs on the loading screen with music. Any quick fixes?

Using a commandline should fix your incorrect graphics reading, as for the infinite loop I'm not sure. I know a lot of people have issues running the game on Windows 8 however.
