Game crashes (got it on steam)

So , hello guys , so...GTA IV crashes...I have some mods : ELS , costume vehicles , and LCPDFR , I don't know why , I am not using a cracked version of it , it is on the 1.0.7.0. version and...I don't know why it crashes...

 

PC SPECS:

 

OS: Windows 8

Processor: AMD FX-9370 Eight-Core Processor

Memory(RAM): 8.00 GB (7.90 GB usable)

System Type: 64 bit

Video Card: AMD Radeon R9 200 Series

 

So...My PC is pretty good to run GTA 4 with some mods...and I did the following requests and still crashes...PLS help :D

Write the names of the mods you have.

That's the best way to locate the problem.

Only ELS and LCPDFR... And I added some cars for ELS v8

Ok. What version of LCPDFR do you have and how did you install it?

If you have ELS v8, go to game folder at first. Find the ELS folder. There should be .ini file called _SLOTCONTROL ; open it and check the lines.

You wrote that you'd installed some cars for ELS v8. My question is - which ones? I'm asking about it because I've got problems with some cars and you could have downloaded them.

 

Anyway, in that file are lines with cars. If you've replaced ONLY police.wtd, police.wtf in your GTA, in _SLOTCONTROL should be writen like this:

 

[ POLICE ]

Status = on

File = default_config

 

For the rest ( if you replaced just police, not police2, ambulace, etc ) there should be writen " Status = off ".

 

 

 

Now let's check how it looks in my computer. I've just replaced Police ( police cruiser ) and Police2 ( police patrol ):

[ POLICE ]

Status = on

File = default_config

 

[ POLICE2 ]

Status = on

File = default_config

 

I haven't replaced the rest, so:

 

[ AMBULANCE ]

Status = off

File = default_config

 

[ FBI ]

Status = off

File = default_config

 

etc.

 

 

Firstly, check it because some time ago it was the cause of my problems with game.

If it still doesn't work:

 

- tell what cars have you installed

- tell how have you installed them

- if it's possible, take a photo of an statement; if it is RC60 that means it could be because of cars ( in situation like this you've got 2 choices - reinstalling game or replacing whole vehicles.img )

 

 

Another option is to uninstall all cars, ELS and LCPDFR and check if errors will be still appearing. If so, it could be problem associated with 1.0.7.0 patch.

Yes , in my _SLOTCONTROL is good , as u said , no problems with the _SLOTCONTROL. So , I installed the liberty city police cars from the popular downloads , I installed them with SparkIV , and wait...Photo to what statement?And BTW is the problem of lcpdfr or els , I don't have problems with the GTA

BTW could you give me your vehicle.img , maybe the problem is with the cars , I did something wrong... :-??

Ok, I undestand. So the problem is related to LCPDFR or ELS.

I don't think it's because of ELS. If in _SLOTCONTROL is everything good, it seems that there's something wrong with LCPDFR.

 

You've got 1.0c. How have you installed it? 

I've installed it by icon of automatical installation. You shouldn't install the earlier versions.

 

 

Ok, I can send you whole vehicle.img but which one?

I've got an original fire which was taken from game before installing anything or current vehicle.img ( there are only 2 ElSegundo police cars with VSP skins and new license plates ).

I installed it with the automatic installer(LCPDFR) , IDK send me your vehicle.img that is working for u ( I mean the one with modifications ) let's see if it works for me :D

I putted the lcpdfr on eflc now it works
