Changing Fat Cop Animations

Featured Replies

I realize this has been asked multiple times before, and at least once fairly recently. However, I am having an interesting situation in that the solution that works for everyone else doesn't seem to work for me. I have changed move_m@fat on the FatCop line to move_cop. To move_f@multiplyr. To move_f@casual. To move_f@sexy. To afasfhasflkasf. Nothing changes in-game. I'm not sure how this is possible, but GTA4 seems to be completely ignoring any changes I make to peds.ide, except for the time I deleted it completely; it noticed that and crashed.

EDIT: Further testing has revealed that the changes ARE taking effect, but not when I am controlling the model in question. NPCs spawning as FatCop use the animation as set in peds.ide but when using the FatCop model as a player character it reverts to the FatCop animations. Is LCPDFR forcing these animations somehow instead of checking peds.ide?

EDIT 2: Similarly, AI cops have the new female voices I added but the player-controlled cop uses the defaults.
