Dsound.dll causing a crash.

So I have been using Xlive.dll for awhile now and everything has been working fine. So I tried to switch over to Dsound.dll so I could play some Lan with a friend.

I took Xlive.dll out of the directory and put dsound.dll in. It now crashes when loading. I tried deleting the savegames and it crashes when it says starting new game on the lower right. I switched it back to Xlive.dll and it works fine.

What could be causing this? Any and all help would be appreciated.

 

Using LCPD:FR 1.0c

Some cop car mods.
