The reason why the Firefighters in GTA:IV are not using their "SCBA" Tank is because it is simply not required. The most you'll ever see an Engine is at a station or when you call 911 itself, and even then they don't have to leave the vehicle to put it out. The "SCBA" is used when the FF has to enter or be near smoke. In GTA:IV they simply do not need to... Even if you mod the suit, you still won't need it...

The "SCBA" isn't used often at MVAs unless Fire is involved.

ik ima firefighter myself but still it would be nice and iv seen some vids if stuff ppl have done firewize and it would be good
