y did rockstar only put 1 fire truck in gta 4 but in gta sa had an engine and a ladder truck? they shoulda brought that over -.- ik they dont rly focus on emergency vehicles but that makes the game atleast for us. D: and if u want to add another firetruck what should u replace? i have squad 62 replacing firetruk but i wanna add a ladder truck aswell ugh this is so frustrating waht should i replace it with?

edit: is there a way to start fires and like respond or something and put them out? i love this mod but i wanna play wit my other car mods 2 :(

R* had 2 fire trucks because they had multiple cities, and that was a huge part of the game (there was no real coherent "San Andreas"; cities mattered a lot more than Alderney vs. LC). In IV, we do have Alderney, but does anyone really care about the difference?

hell no -.- we should make a petition to R* to make it more emergency friendly for ppl like us. more cop cars, more fire trucks, variety etcc. weapons that fit each like the chainsaw for fire or an axe. etc. emergency friendly or not if they add a lighting system like els and some cool lookin cars ppl are gonna use them! but they make them look like the worse cars in the game and worry more about the sports cars

GTA IV made a profit of over $400,000,000.00 (four hundred MILLION dollars) in a WEEK.

I don't think Rockstar is particularly interested in changing that.

dayumm O.o well they'd attract even more ppl if they opeend it up to more oportunities for ex more emergency stuff/missions like i was sayin and some accual house fires would be nice -.-

Well, there's a reason why SA has two trucks and not one. Because when Rockstar wants something to happen, they will make it happen, even if that means to make a vehicle that doesn't ever spawn during normal gameplay.

They made the ladder truck for the final mission you play at the end of the game. Other than that, they use the normal fire truck to spawn at FD's and responding to Fires.

So since Rockstar never really ever involved the FDLC in missions, except that one where they force spawned trucks to repond to an explotion you did up in Bohan, they only have one generic fire truck.
