Connecting to game session....Unable to Connect to game session *Help Needed*

Featured Replies

Hey there.

A member of the clan I am apart of cannot join the games my brother or I host. And if some other person in our clan hosts a game and he joins we can't join. Let me quote something from a post on some other website I saw this error on as well:

1. Friend hosts, I cannot join.
2. I host, friend cannot join.
3. Mutual friend hosts, I can join, friend cannot join.
4. Mutual friend hosts, friend can join, I cannot join.

That basically tells my story. It is kind of a pain considering we have been able to play together before without this problem but ever since my family received a new router, things have changed.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks!

- Restart your Router: Just unplug the power chord and plug it back in. It might take a few minutes for it to be up and running,

- Test your Internet: Go to your internet settings on your Xbox/PS3/PC and disconnect and reconnect.

See if that helps and reply back to me the results.

Alright thanks for the replies. Will test it out soon. I'm not quite about changing your GFWL. But I guess that's worth a try. Thanks Chris.

Change your GFWL / get a new one. It's free.

I tried creating a new account and changing it. No such luck. Sorry for the late reply. I've been really busy.

Best way, in my experience, is to turn your router off for approximately 30 seconds and switch it back on.

If you have any devices such as a phone or tablet, turn the internet off on those devices.
