When LCPD:FR installed SecuROM Launcher fails.

Featured Replies

I recently got GTA IV for pc for the sole purpose of using the LCPD:FR mod but I've encounter a slight problem...

When I do not have the mod installed everything launches fine and I am able to play the game. When I install lcpdfr to my EFLC folder I try to open the game and reach the SecuROM Laucher, When I press Play Offline the SecuROM Launcher simply closes and does nothing.

When I press Play the SecuROM Launcher will say Authenticating User it will then stops responding and windows says it has encountered a problem.

I have tried reinstalling lcpdfr multiple times but it is not working. This really bugs me since the reason I purchased GTA was to play lcpdfr.

If this is a known bug please redirect me to where the fix is. If not I would really enjoy some help...

*EDIT: This happens with any mods I install... :/ Please Help.

Thanks ~Oak :)

Have you downloaded the recent patch for your game? If you do not download that, it most likely will not start, also are you running the game as an administrator?

I am indeed running the game as an administrator but haven't downloaded the patch. I'll try that now, If thats all that is needed then I feel pretty stupid :P
