Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I have some problems with GTA IV, I've installed LCPDFR 1.0c manually, everythings work fine until i install Vdh Policehelper or Simple Trainer, I double checked the installation manual and the readme files!

sometimes it just crash, without message on my screen, then it says GTA IV has stopped...

I have also Callouts+ installed

so can it be that those 3 (scripts/plugins) cant match?

if someone would like to help me?

sorry for my english :( shame on me...

regards,

Brecht

  • You can use the trainer to fix your car, you can keep the trainer. Just make sure to follow the instructions in my post and it should fix it!

Ok, I will remove that and simple trainer would that be a problem?

I am not a good driver, I crash my car always :( is there any mod/script that I can use to request a cop car or to fix it?

Did you saw the logs.? Is there anything bad?

when I launch the game I always click on "play offline" could that be the problem?

Thanks for your responce!

You said i follow the instructions on your post, wich one?

The first time that I installed trainer, the instruction says unzip everything in to your GTA IV directory, so i did it and it crashed at the loading moment.

I saw a video on youtube how to install simple trainer without crash or something like that and they say to just copy and past the Trainer.asi and Trainer.ini in to your directory and it worked...

as that good?

sorry to border you ineseri but i just love LCPDFR...

Hm, It never posted... Dang. Anyway:

Please do the following:

  • Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks
  • Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - This sometimes fixes a wide variety of issues
  • Make sure that you run the game as an administrator.
  • Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only"
  • Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder
  • Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder.
  • Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation.
  • Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself.
  • Install these: .Net Framework 4.5Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012

I have both of them, Dsound.dll and Xlive.dll

I've installed Xlive.dll when I installed a 100% savegame.

my game is a original.

You're not a bother :P So are you saying it works now?

thank you :)

yes the game work really fine, also LCPDFR and all the features from LCPDFR. but when i install vdh police helper or trainer or both then it crash, i can't play for more than 15min and it crash :( :(

know i played without vdh police helper and trainer and it don't crash...

so i can't play it with trainer or police helper anymore? :(

Trainer should work just fine, but you should not use both Dsound or Xlive, only one of them. Vdh police helper was made for a different version of LCPDFR and LCPDFR 1.0 is not supported with third-party mods.

ok, know i'm playing, the following problem,

just accept a callout from the plugin Collouts+ that i download on LCPDFR.com (officer shot down...)

I checked on the officer by pressing E and than that message appear: LCPDFR has encountered an error, which has been logged to LCPDFR.log. Please see the log file for further details and report the issue at lcpdfr.com. this error may leed to unexpected behavior and it is recommended to restart the game. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

the game freeze, my ped don't move anymore.. put i can go to the option menu, my colleague moves, everything mover beside me but i can't move.

which one do i need to remove? Dsound or Xlive?

You can remove whichever one you want to remove. If you are using a 100% save game, you might want to remove Dsound. I am not sure what the error is, but restarting the game should help.

ok thanks

It seems to be a problem with the callouts+ plugins, every time that i accept the call "officer down" it crash and says GTA IV has stopt running...

hello,

My game crashed again, here is the situation: a cab drives trough red lights, I ask him to pull over (shitkey) and he didn't want to stop a ran away so i called in for pursuit, (alt+E) i'm chasing him and suddenly my game crashed and get the standaard message "GTA IV has stopped" i really don't what the problem is :((

Is there anyone who can help me to fix this? It happens a lot :(( and is quite annoying :(

That's what i use:

LCPDFR 1.0c

Callouts+(by LukeD)

Trainer 6.5(Downloaded on GTAMODS)

LCPDANPR

Strobes

PACK-LCPD-V1.1L-AC (cop cars)

textures pack lcpd (by LukeD)
