Recording Software

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I have a question about recording software. I used to use FRAPS, but now I have to pay for it, and it also makes my PC laggy. Since I use an ENB when I play GTA, I cant use WeGame either. I tried to use Xfire but my game crashes right as I start it out. Is there any FREE recording software I can use to plat GTA IV? Remember, I use an ENB so it would need to record in HQ. Thanks :)

Remember: Dont Suggest FRAPS, Xfire, Or WeGame

Use the ingame video editor? just hit F2 when playing to save a clip.

Not one of the best options, but you can render in full 1080p and give the video some cool angles (like a dashcam or focusing on the cop inside the car like COPS)

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Now, How do you render it? InGame editor? (And I can make LCPDFR videos wit it and also upload them to YouTube?)

Once you've pressed F2 enough times during gameplay, head into your phone and select "Video Editor" .. It'll take you to it.

throw some clips together, edit the angles and effects, give it a name and then click one of the rendering options at the bottom

"320p , 720p , 1080p"

Infact, Rockstar shows you how to:
