Hello ,

 

I have just bought GTA IV today it is running fine no lag I can control it perfectly . But on the first mission you spawn in the docks, that's fine, but when I exit the docs graphics hasn't loaded, it is like I am using xray vision. All I can see is lamp posts, train tracks, my cars, other cars and pedestrians. When I go into my house most of that is fine except you can see through the top of the walls. I have tried putting Graphics on default settings , it doesn't do anything except tell me my memory is way over. Also without putting it to default my memory is way over. And when I go to adjust it without using default buttons when I let go it goes back to it's default one, so I don't even have time to apply the settings before it goes back to it's original one , so I cannot even make the memory less. Also I put the screen settings next to the Graphics (What ever it's called) to default and that  only makes the walls not see through in my home. So I do not know if it is the memory or anything, I don't have a clue whats going on in this situation.

 

Also one last problem, I do not know if this is anything to do with the other problem , when I have activated LCPDFR and go in to the police station it says loading... and it never loads.

 

 

THINGS I HAVE TRIED:

 

Rebooting my system a couple of times.

Tried logging in to my live account (I get a error code so it has failed)

Adjusting the settings to my abilities.

Completing a couple of missions to see if it has changed.

 

If you have any suggestions, please say them here or if you know what the problem is , again please tell me.

Well I have done the test thing, and it says Minimum - no Recommended - no. But is there any way to fix this without getting a new pc, I cannot afford one and I have been waiting months to play this now.  

I'm not sure why you would buy GTA IV when you do not have a good PC. GTA IV is a very demanding game. To circumvent a less powerful computer, and maybe get the game up and running, create a txt file called

“commandline.txt” (without quotes) in your main GTA IV installation directory and insert the following lines:
