Hello,

I've been running the game fine since sometime last week with ELS, LCPDFR, and some car and two weapon mods. I have no installed any updates on my computer or made any changes as I was able to play earlier, so I am not sure what the issue is, and if it does have anything to do with LCPDFR, but I would appreciate any support! :excl:

I did search the forum for similar issues, but I only saw a few that said GTA IV would crash BEFORE they could even get the game started, and that their diagnostic tools were not working either.

Problem: My issue is when you click "Play" and after the little splash screen with the various characters and music comes up right before the black loading screen. I am not given an error message, Windows just says that GTA IV was not responding. I have been able to run before by using "Run as administrator." I have tried all of the simple solutions.

Recent Changes: I recently changed some handling lines supplied by GPM, and I recently added the ELS.ini file to my root directory as I noticed that it was not present before and the AI cars in-game were not properly using the ELS, but I tried removing the file and I am still getting the error. I also reviewed all of the other simple fixes. Here are my logs:

couple off possible reasons. First: Game will sometimes refuse to load if you have saved your game at a safehouse while on duty dressed as an officer. Or if you modded a car useing a slot that a car saved in a parking space at your safehouse uses.

Also the smallest error, just one didgit out on a handling line will cause game not to start. You said you had changed handling lines. Try reverting handling file back to default then change one line at a time. If you do several in one go makes it hard to find out what line is causing errors.

My money is on the handling lines.
