Wierd Livery Problem

Featured Replies

On my car, no matter what texture/template it looks a bit off, even with the default template that came with the dev model. It's F5544's DSF model, edited by tim. Now this might be an error with some of the textures or something because I dont recall it looking like that default, without any textures. This is not visible in Open IV nor zModeler, but when I go in game it looks like this:

I can PM someone the model if they are willing to help. I need this fixed, as it is unreleasable right now.

Side note: I have rear lighting you just cant see it, so dont call me out :)

Your dirtmap is messed up. Your paint3 material needs to be set up as such:

Paint3(For a total of 4 different liveries, if those liveries are made transparent colours can be changed via SNT[ingame] and in the carcols in your directory)

- Vehicle_generic_Specmap (UV #1)

- police_sign_1 (UV #2)

- Dirtmap (Multiply, UV #1)

- Vehicle_generic_Specmap (Specular, Multiply, UV #1)

Materials editor, do your Paint3[CLR:1] material. Set it up as shown above.

By Vehicle_generic_specmap dont you mean vehicle_generic_smallspecmap and by dirtmap do you mean vehicle_genericmud_car? Because thats all there is in the vehShare.

"Dropping kids off at all the pool" that made my day. I got everything down

, but how do I get the specular and multiply? In the advanced editor, if so where? And is it on by default?

Don't worry about the multiply stuff. Also, uncheck your genericmic, and you're good to go.

I went to sleep before I did that last thing, where is the "genericmic"?

Either way my car works now, so thanks RainbowIronic.
