Low FPS with ENB

Featured Replies

As the title says, I just installed CryENB on my PC again, but for some reason, I can't get above 15-20 FPS. I ran it before with lows of 35 FPS, and highs for 45+ FPS. Would anyone know why this is happening?

PC Specs:

8 core AMD FX-8320

Nvidia Geforce GTX 650

8 GB RAM

1TB HD.

Windows 8.1

Like I said, I ran this same ENB on this exact PC with much higher FPS, but now all of a sudden I can't even get above 20 with it.

Alright, I finally got it to run with lows at 30 FPS and highs at 45+. But, I can only play for about 3 minutes before I get the RESC10 error code, or whatever it is, that says that I am out of video memory. I never had this problem before, but now all of a sudden it is happening. Is there a fix for it?

What config are you using, how much VRAM (video ram) do you have and did you install one of the commandlines?

By "what config", are you talking about the files that say Low end, medium end etc.? If so, I'm using very low end. I was able to use High End before and get great FPS. Also, the VRAM is what is displayed when changing the graphics settings In-Game for IV, correct? If so, then I'm only using 324/1915 MB of it, my settings are still pretty good, I mainly have water quality low and shadows low, but everything else high. As for the commandline, I am using whatever was included with the Low End settings of the install files.

EDIT: Also, I know the graphics card isn't the strongest, and I know I should get more RAM, but I never had any issue with low FPS like this, even with icEnhancer installed. (I didn't really like that one as much as CryENB and Game4Video. lol)

EDIT 2: I mixed some files from Game4Video and CryENB, I actually got a nice looking ENB going lol. But I still ran into the same Out of Video Memory error. Here is a pic of the settings that I have currently, as well as the commandline that I put in. The commandline is what was included in the Low End setting for CryENB. Although, since I swapped commandlines from a higher setting one, to the Low End, the video memory number jumped significantly, but it says that I am near the limit even though it is only 324/2000+MB used. As dumb as it sounds, I hadn't any issues until the last Windows update that I had to do. That was a bit of time ago, and I tried using an ENB just after but had this same issue. Before that Windows update, I ran everything just fine.
