LCPDFR files seem broke...

Featured Replies

When I install lcpdfr it keeps going to the folder; C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonGrand Theft Auto IV Episodes from Liberty CityEFLC instead of C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonGrand Theft Auto IVGTAIV.  i purchased EFLC from Steam, then uninstalled it. Then I installed GTAIV. Can anyone help, I also have teamviewer... Thanks

How are you having the same issue with the manual installer? Are you going to the wrong folder? If so, go to the right one and simply copy-paste the files. Read the manual installation guide too.

No, I will not. The manual install is very simple. Go to the download page where you downloaded LCPDFR 1.0c. Download the manual installation package. Extract the files and read the manual. It is all explained there. I am sure you can do it.

And you have read the manual about the installation when using the manual package? You need to follow those steps 100%. Also make sure your game is updated and that you are running it as administrator.

Yeah I've read the installation package, I followed the steps, and the game is updated (I believe) and it is running administrator

Does the LCPDFR mod work without those enabled? Be sure that you're using the correct redists too.

  • Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only"
  • Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder
  • Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder.
  • Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation.
  • Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself.
  • Install these: .Net Framework 4.5Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012

could you upload the lcpdfr.log it is in C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonGrand Theft Auto IVGTAIVlcpdfrlcpdfr.log (not 100% sure since I am not on my gaming pc)

if you need a simple upload website I would recommend: http://pastebin.com/ you can just paste the contents of the .log file in the textarea, give it a name, click submit and send us the link.

I clicked the lcpdfr diagnostic clicked "Advanced mode" found /gta and checked installation, it seemed to work, although it's still stuck on /eflc instead of /gta :[
