We Do! 

But because we are not such a popular area we don't have people taking many pictures of our departments cars So i can't really show you. We also have a new livery which is all black. Akron does to.

Hello, My first post here which I hope will be the first of many to come, Currently living in Akron Ohio, so here come the pics of our local police and fire forces:

Yea! I used to live in Akron! great place, it is not as bad as people make it seem. I also kinda see it as a tiny NY cause there are emergency vehicle, taxis, and people, everywhere! You can even see a hobo every so often. 

Saw this Mobile County Sheriff's car when I was driving by. Had to get a pic....Because....I mean...It's so seldom that you see a Crown Vic with a Whelen Liberty.




 

Don't think ive ever seen a smart car apart of a Law Enforcement agency

Turns out I didnt have to go to Cuyahoga Falls to photograph the new Explorer, 2 of them came to me, I photographed them at the Winebrenner Funeral Procession back on Saturday:

Gonna revive this thread, I found some new photos to add.

 

Brook Park, Berea and other local companies on scene of an MVA training event, I believe.

 

 

Since the city is having a budget crisis, they are letting some Firefighters go, and they closed down 2/3 of the fire houses, I also believe they are also planning on switching to a private EMT company, response time will probably be a nightmare.

Medical Services:

 

Mercedes-Benz shooting brake of the Finnish national police. This thing costs more than 100 thousand euros and it goes about 250 kilometers per hour (155 mph) and accelerates from 0 to 100kph (60 mph) in just under five seconds. Sadly there is only one of these in service, as it was donated by "tekniikan maailma" magazine on their 60th anniversary (look at the plates)

 

They also have donated some other vehicles earlier, first being a Dodge Aspen police special in 1978 for the 25th anniversary:

 

 

then for the 30th anniversary in 1983 they donated a some sort of a volvo:

 

and for 35th anniversary in 1988 they gave an Audi quattro:  (i dont know why this one has normal plates)

 

2003 was the 50th anniversary and then TM donated a Jaguar S type R

 

But sadly nowadays you can see almost only these slow and stupid VW transporters:

that's an 2009-ish ford mondeo in the background BTW.
