Failed to find valid installation.

I keep getting the error message failed to find the gtav folder although when I check the main directory it seems as if everything was installed correctly. I also ran the diagnostics that comes along with 1.0c and it says the same error again even tho its installed. When I try to load the mod in game everything seems fine except for a few missing features such as the taser etc.

Please use the manual installer.

Having the same problem like the others, yet i do the manual, read the documents and i do the automatic install all the same...

always say's "failed to find valid installation of game and it's my steam game not pirated, i don't do illegal crap! but anyways, it seems like some troll all of this is just bull crap.

none of the things work 1.0b worked but i still am getting tired of this. and the only people on youtube that will show you are just idiot's they either don't have mic's or there not doing anything to show you the do tutorials for the keys. but i don't quite know about this mod as of gamewise. it's just another crapy mod i won't use again... i loved this mod until now why did you have to make this so hard and stupid.

i'm not so ever trying to be mean but it's not cool when you have other mods and they don't work with another mod so it get's irritating.

P.S. if you make another update like a "hotfix" it would really help. it would save some of your asses people wise! :/

1. If it's just another crappy mod, you can leave. No one is forcing you to use it.

2. Why would you use it if it is just another crappy mod?

Very few reasons, im not saying it's bad crappy im saying that it's crappy that i can't actually use it and that it's not being stablilized for so it stands unstable hard to use and irritating.

BUT! i still wish to use it and hope that it was soon be working sadly it won't because it's not being fixed by you guys (not the mod) i mean the topics don't state how to fix it you just say, "oh open diagnostics"

or " easy download it with the documents open" and it never answers the point like i was saying in the begining of the 1st comment i made. that it's clear how to install but it's not clear on how to fix the problems.

i hope you test the new versions very well i know you do check them but really work out ways to see if you get problems! that way if you do fix them you can explain how to remove the problem and or fix the problem... instead of an answer that won't help everytime. it get's irritating when the creator doesn't know what we are talking about... and the moderators don't ether, you need to get professional's to test the game as well as they can and then your people over there.

again im not trying to be mean im trying to somehow help you guys develope a better modding site, with better ideas in the new hotfix we need one!

-snip-

You just said "it's just another crapy mod i won't use again".

It is stable for a lot of people, and the topics do state on how to fix most of the issues that arise when installing the mod. Most of these issues are user-related; Meaning that it isn't the mod that is at fault, but the end-user. Be that by installing a lot of mods, or having a PC setup that just won't work. There's a reason we tell people to use the diagnostic and post the relevant logs; It helps. There is a reason we tell people to read the manual/documentation; It helps.

"i hope you test the new versions very well i know you do check them but really work out ways to see if you get problems!"

We do test all new versions, and we test them very well. But, we can't cater everyone and make sure that every possible build will work smoothly. That just isn't possible. We don't have the resources, or the time. We also have a limited amount of testers who, mind you, do this for free to bring you the best experience. The devs do fix all of the issues that testers point out that are fixable.

And no, the creator or support givers won't know what is wrong with your particular setup, unless you give more information. We're not magicians.

"and the moderators don't ether, you need to get professional's to test the game as well as they can and then your people over there."

Sure, will you pay the bill for those proffesionals? The mod (not game) is being developed for free, by the devs in their sparetime. They give you this amazing modification for free, no charge whatsoever. We don't need to give support. We don't need to do anything. But we do, because we enjoy it. Now, if you have further discussion to make, please take it to your own topic or send me a PM. Thank you sir :)
