Installing LCPDFR

Featured Replies

Just a couple questions,

1) What is the difference between the first and alternative download? They're different sizes but I didn't see any difference.

2) When I go to select the directory to install, if I choose GTA IV or EFLC, instead of putting all the files the main game folder,it installs LCPDFR in a folder called "LCPD First Response" and in that folder is another folder called LCPDFR with all the files in it. Why doesn't it just install the files into the main game folder?

This is the path that I use to install on EFLC:

C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonGrand Theft Auto IV Episodes from Liberty CityEFLCLCPD First Response

Edit: I see that the last path is the LCPD First Response folder, that must be why it put's it in that folder but why is that default?

1) The first installer uses the OpenCandy advertising software to show an ad during installation; the alternative is exactly the same, but without OpenCandy.

2) Unsure why this is the case; what files does it put in that folder?
