GTA IV: In-Game FPS and Texture Issues

Featured Replies

I have recently re-installed windows 7 to my computer. Before I had re-installed Windows 7, my game never got texture loss and had like 20 frames (full resolution) recording while driving. Now I get texture loss even when I am not recording and to get 20 frames I have to play in the lowest box possible.

Please help me.

Current Commandline:

-noprecache
-percentvidmem "100"
-nomemrestrict
-norestrictions
-nomemrestrict
-availablevidmem "2.7"
-windowed

Your current commandline makes no sense, since you're telling the game to use 100 % of the memory, and then you tell it to have no restrictions when you're restricting it to 2.7 further down in the text document.

Please list and answer:

1. Is it a legal copy?

2. What are your specs?

3. Which mods are you using?

4. Latest patch?

Don't bash on me for my specs when my game used to run 20 FPS when recording, now it runs 20 without recording in the smallest resolution.

Also the -availblevidmem "2.7" gives me more resource usage.
