Officers killed in the line of duty during 2014

Featured Replies

A few weeks ago I started to wonder about how many officers had been killed or died in the line of duty so far this year. Today (5/ 31/ 2014) I checked the same site and I saw that 52 officers so far this year have been killed in the line of duty....This is horribly sad. To only think that almost 6 months into this year and we have lost a total of 52 officers to gun fire, car crashes, etc.

I think we should remember these officers, deputies, troopers, and agents for their service to protect us and our country. These officers go out to work everyday, knowing that, that day could be their last. But they continue to put their lives on the line for us.

RIP to all the officers, deputies, troopers, and agents, for your service....you will go unforgotten.

This link shows all the officers killed in the line of duty. http://www.odmp.org/search/year/2014

R.I.P, They're in a better place now, with no shootings, crashes, or danger. May all their souls rest in peace.
