LCPD 1.0b crash promptly (in game 5-10 seconds)

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I am totaly clueless for now.

For two days ago I played LCPDFR 1.0b without any problem. Yesterday I tried to install an ENB-Series-Mod but the game crashed every time instantly. After that I removed that kind of Mod but had again problems with it. Thats the reason why I removed the game (savegames was not deleted) and installed it new.

After the reinstallation I patched the game with the patch wich comes with the first disc (DVD-Version, no Steam).

Than I add some new policevehicels (same like the day before where the game works without problems). Now I installed ELS 8.0 too.

Furthermore I installed now the LCPD 1.0b (manual Version). I extract all files into the GTA IV folder where the GTAIV.exe is too.

Than I checked my installation with the DiagnosticTool and that told me that no problem occur and all files are fine.

So I started the game and when I was in game after 5 to 10 seconds GTA IV crashed.

I tried both API files, one time the dload.dll and next time (after deleting dload.dll) the xlive.dll file. Here I see that only the dload.dll uses the savegame. When I start the moad with using xlive.dll a new game will be load.

To get an better overview I have added 6 files, 3 starting with an "d" and 3 starting with an "x" which is standing one time for the dload.dll use and the other time for the xlive.dll.

I can't figure out where the problem might be because the game worked perfectly two days ago before using an ENB-Series-Mod. Besides I do not use the ENB-Series-Mod after the reinstallation.

Okay I will try it and edit my Post here with the result, thank you!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Ok second problem which occures: I tried LCPDFR without any secon mod just the game, all is fine.

After I use new police vehicles and installing ELS 8.0 the game crashes again promptly.

Now I found that: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

But in my folder there is no file ending with .dll it is just a same file but ending with .asi

So the problem with the crash is something with ELS 8.0 I think.

But what I do not understand: Three days ago the game worked perfectly with ELS 8.0 and the same policecars which I added.

Only now it is a problem...

I think I have to delet another file? But do not know which one.

Any idea?

I will add the log-files

Okay problem will be finally solved, I delete the same file ending .asi and the game works for now :)
But a last question: Can anybody recommend me an ENB-series Mod which is working with LCPDFR 1.0b ?

Great thank for the help!
